GAMBIT PUBLICATIONS STAR OPEN junior team chess tournament will be held at, Sekolah Tengku
Ampuan Rahimah secondary school. The tournament is scheduled to be held on the 7th of July 2007.

Here are the results for the Under 18 category of the Klang Parade tournament held on 23rd June 2007 (Saturday). Abel Yap was the champion for this category.

Here are the results for the Klang Parade Open held on 24th June 2007 (Sunday). Fariz Shafruddin emerged champion with 4.5 points.

Venue: PCA Clubhouse, Bayan Baru.
Objective:
Top 3 players from each categories will be representing Penang in the coming Merdeka Team Championship.
Format:
7 rounds will be played based on the Swiss System with time control of 1-hour each.
