Malaysian Justin Ong won the Singapore Challengers ahead of many Singaporeans one point ahead of his nearest rival.

Justin was only seeded 64 (lucky number?) in the tournament and he started it with a first round loss against WFM Victoria Chan Wei Yi .

However he won ALL of his other games to finish an outstanding 8/9!! He finished ahead of Indonesian Kaiser Jenius Hakiki and Setiawan Iwan whom he defeated in the last 2 rounds.
