Date: 24th Feb 2008 (Sunday)
Venue: Wilayah Complex, KL
Category: Cat 1 (MCF rating 1400 and above); Cat 2 (MCF rating below
1400)
Prizes: RM 1,800 in total (10 cash prizes for Cat 1, 10 book prizes
for Cat 2, and 6 Consolation prizes)==> 26 prize winners!!!!!
Payment: 24th Feb (Before 9am)
No. or rounds: 7
Time control: 25 minutes per player
Entrance Fee: RM 15 (CAS Members), RM 20(Others in Cat 2), RM 25
(Others in Cat 1).
Pre-registration: selangorchess@gmail.com (name and category) by 22nd
Feb. After deadline, RM 5 penalty will be charged.

I have foreseen something interesting! An unrated chessplayer is probably going to win in this tournament. Actually i recommend him to take part in category 2.

For any unrated player who are 18 y.o. and above must join Cat 1, only unrated player below 18 y.o. is allowed to join Cat 2.

As of today, there are less than 40 players have pre-registered for both categories. For anyone who are interested to participate, please send your Name and Category to selangorchess@gmail.com by 6 pm 23rd Feb. No late fee will be charged.
