Young Players Chess Challenge 2008

1. Organiser: The Tournament is organized by the ASEAN Chess Academy (ACAM) and will be played under the FIDE Laws of Chess and the following rules.

2. Eligibility: All young Players from the age 4-8 years old

3. Venue: ASEAN Chess Academy – 22-1 Jalan 27/70A, Desa Sri Hartamas, 50480 Kuala Lumpur

4. Date & Time: Saturday 30 Aug 2008, 1-5pm. All participants are to report by 12.30 pm.

5. Time Control : Swiss System of 6 rounds with 15 minutes per player to complete the game.

6. Entry Fee : RM10.00 per Participant (for ACAM students);

RM15.00 for non-students

7. Payment Mode : By Cash or bank-in to 514187 350467 Maybank (Intchess (M) Sdn. Bhd.),

please fax bank-slip with participant’s name to 03-2300 1689

8. Prizes : Trophies shall be presented to the top 5 overall winners in each category. All other players shall receive a certificate of participation

9. Closing Date: Shall be not be later than 25 August 2008 by 7.00 pm.

Late entries and entries without payment will not be accepted. Entry Fees are non- refundable

10. In the event of any disputes (outside the Laws of Chess), the Organizer’s decision shall be final

and no further correspondences shall be entertained.
