Kuala Langat Under 12 Results
Shreyes Subramaniam finished as champion in the Under 12 category of the Kuala Langat tournament. He finished with a perfect 7/7 score. Following closely behind in 3rd and 4th place respectively are Mohd Faizal Roslan and Mohd Sirajuddin A.Fuad both with the score of 6/7.

Kuala Langat Open Results
The first tournament after the Ramadham month saw a huge turnout of 136 players for the Kuala Langat Chess Open 2008.
Tournament favourite Ian Udani had to settle for second place when Ismail Ahmad had the better tie-break. Both players finished with the score of 6.5/7.
11-year old player Muhd Irfan Haqqim, perform commendably well in the Open section finishing overall 5th with 5.5/7. He beat beat Mohd Hussien Mohd Jamil and Faizal Andin. He drew with WNM Nur Shazwani in the final round.
