Klang Open 2009 Results
A total of 411 participants took part, a record in a day event. Pinoy, Burmese, Indonesian, Zambian amongst the contestants which separated into 4 main categories.
Open: 149 players
Under 18 : 83 players
Under 12 : 94 players
PAID Under 12 : 85 players
CAS 2009 First Quarter Allegro Results
Ian Udani emerged champion of the first CAS allegro 2009 in a relatively strong tournament consisting of 100 participants. Ian Udani beat Tan Yong Zhao, Mat Zaki Yeop, Mur Nabila and Kaushal Khandhar.
Fariz Shafruddin and Anas Nazreen Bakri managed to draw against Udani. Sumant Subramaniam also finished with 6 points out of 7 but had to settle for second place after the tie break.
Fariz Shafruddin, FM Anas Nazreen Bakri and IM Mas Hafizulhelmi finished 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively.
